I have a friend named Jessica, but she doesn't really even know who I am. But that's okay. This friend has taught me so much about photoshop, digital papers, clipping masks and all sorts of other lovely things all related to digital scrapbooking. But more than those things, I have learned a new sort of empowerment and joy in learning something new. It feels so good to be challenged, to work hard, to grunt at the computer and then to tinker until it does what I want it to do.
Jessica Sprague is an online teacher and is so calm and helpful in her video tutorials that I just keep coming back for more. And if you want to jump on this train, I recommend doing it now...
Because, Jessica Sprague is offering a FREE one week class to help get you started. This is an introductory class and you do not need to have photoshop or any sort of computer skills other than the ability to use a printer. My mom and I took a free class last year and we both really enjoyed it. So sign up with us! Registration closes on Sunday and IT'S FREE!!! And you'll love my friend Jessica who has no idea what sort of a one-sided friendship the two of us share...

yup, just got it! Thank you! When will your font be available for download!?!?!?!?
Yes! I am so excited to take a class with you Lisa! Who else wants in on this party?!!
And, I am going to try to work on the font thing this week. Now that my blog has been given a facelift I feel all excited to get that up and available. And I'm totally flattered you'd want to download it!
I'm tempted. Your stuff is so pretty. Can you take the video tutorials whenever you want, and is it self-paced (like if a little guy named Park has a diaper blow-out, does Jessica let me stop what I'm doing)???
(I feel sort of silly commenting so soon...clearly it's a slow day for me today...and I just deleted my last comment after finding a horrible spelling error...)
But Beth! YES! All of her stuff is go-at-your-own pace and you own the teaching materials forever once you register. So even if you don't get to this class until next Christmas, you still have it in your posession forever.
For example, Rory and I are taking a SLR photography class through her site, and we had to stop midway through the course because Rory dropped the camera and it broke (it actually is sort of funny only because we have a warranty. it would not have been funny without the warranty)
So if you're tempted, commit. No one will grade you, and you just might find yourself a sweet little new hobby.
Yes, Beth. Becca got me my first Digi class for Christmas LAST year and I just started to do the classes this month! Lesson 3 Task 2! Kinda hard for me to find quiet time to sit and listen with 3 kids and me sharing one computer. But it's awesome! You will love it. L
WHATEVER!! I did not break the camera. It was faulty. They said it was a problem with this model at BB.
